This is Me in a nutshell

Data analyst, unicorn. I'm the gatekeeper of adversity, the bringer of organization to chaos, the knower of obscure information. You see tons of profiles for professionals every day and I also have education and experience, but what you really need to know is that I put edible glitter in my coffee to make it more fun.

I don't take myself too seriously but I know that I'm capable of anything.

Looking for a junior data analyst position to be able to grow and showcase analysis and presentation skills. Open to full-time, in-person in the Omaha, Nebraska area or remote anywhere. Open to networking and collaboration.

Medical Staffing for Influenza Analysis: To help a medical staffing agency that provides temporary workers to clinics and hospitals on an as-needed basis for influenza season. Using CDC and Census information from 2011-2017 to inform future needs for additional influenza staffing.

Real Estate and High School Graduation Analysis: Provide insight on real estate pricing in the United States; compare high school graduation rates to income and analyze against rent and mortgage per state.

Case Studies

Influenza Project

This is a case study of my influenza analysis project. The key questions to be answered were timing for additional staffing for hospitals to treat influenza and does poverty affect influenza numbers.

I used a treemap to show how influenza deaths double for every 10-year age increase.

I used a bubble chart and used Tableau to insert the R-squared line to show that there doesn’t appear to be any correlation between poverty and influenza deaths.

This line chart shows that while the overall deaths are higher in the winter months,97% of deaths in summer are vulnerable persons.

Income and Graduation Project

This is the case study of my final project for CareerFoundry: an analysis of real estate, income, and high school graduation data to find relationships.

This is a linear regression using supervised machine learning to explore the correlation between high school graduates and home ownership.

This is a cluster plot using the k-means to explore further patterns between high school graduates and income.

This is a dashboard I created in Tableau to showcase the bottom 10 performing states. It is interactive, one can click on the bar graph to highlight the state in the map below.
